Financial Information:
Adding Photos, Images, Audio And Video
Other than writing your text, you will want to enhance your website more with additional add-ons like photos, images, audio and/or videos.
Images/Photos For Your Website
This site has a large collection of photos to use on your website. Visit Your Affordable Website and download your "free" photos. Another website where you can download "free" photos is located at Free Web Photo.
Create Your Own "Favicon"
Create your own “favicon” (logo-type icon)
to show up in the address bar of a browser next to your sitename.
* Unless you already have an image you want to display in a browser, you will
need to create your “logo” (favicon), in your software program like Paint or Photoshop
* After you have created your logo, save it on your computer with a filename
* Next, visit Favicon
and generate your very own favicon by following the easy instructions.
Click on the image above to visit this website and create your favicon.
NOTE: When you are satisfied with your favicon…click “File”, "Save As" (give it the
filename: favicon.ico and save it in the same directory as your “index.html” file on
your website). This is a must – it is not considered an image…so do not
save it in your image folder.
* Now, in your editor between the<head>..…</head> tags on all your web pages,
put the following link:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" />
* The last step is to “open” your website in your browser and add it to your “Favorites”.
Audio For Your Website
This software comes with
a step-by-step guide for placing audio (voice) on your website. At this time
of writing my tutorial, the software is "free" to download to your site as a "zip
file". Visit
Website Audio Maker to
get your "free" audio software.
To open zip files, you can download either
ZipItFast or
WinZip.
Videos For Your Website

videos to your website.Now, you know about adding photos, images, audio, and video to your website. Read the next topic titled "Download-Upload Images".
